update to 1.19 #110

obviously super low priority, since we need to make CC itself actually work first.

the data driven capabilities for world gen in 1.16 should help matters a lot though (and allow for outright stupidly big new capabilities like creating new dimensions)

year passed :P honestly i would say dont bother past 1.18 because I think mojang themselves are working on infinite height limit (probably wont arrive before 1.20 or something

While Mojang has been heading in a direction that would facilitate them implementing infinite height, I don't think we have enough evidence yet to suggest that they have any intention of actually doing it. At any rate, I believe all the CC devs' stances on this (including mine) have been that we'd like Mojang to merge CC into vanilla (or at least reimplement it using some of our design); working on it further makes this slightly more realistic, although I still don't expect it to happen.

why 1.19 when you're already working on CC 1.17? wouldn't 1.17 be a better starting point?

Note the change in issue title several times We'll probably end up having CWG for any version CC plans to support (hopefully)
