Problem (short description, max 150 words) Using CAMS forecasts, monitor the risk of exceeding EU air quality standards. This could be for a user specified location, or highlight all areas at risk. For CAMS it would be interesting to see if the current CAMS data delivery mechanism is suitable for this purpose.
Target end users: public administrations who want to avoid being fined for exceeding legal limits
Data (what data do you need? what format?) Sample data for proof of concept.
For example PM2.5 / PM10 / SO2 / NO2 / CO / O3 , surface level, from Copernicus Regional service, current forecast, format GRIB or NetCDF See how to access programmatically: https://software.ecmwf.int/wiki/x/1KZ0B
