The tool's front page and results page should make it clear what to do, what's happened, and what to do next.

If it's easier, this can be made into a microsite + some inline docs

https://cove.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ is maybe a place for more verbose docs.

This is something that needs to be led by someone closer to the user - that's largely @stevieflow and @rory09 . Could we spend half a day with one dev (including me) and one of Steven/Rory to run through it? #814 could be dealt with at the same time.
