The majority of records which were automatically imported still remain in the non-migrated multilingual state therefore cannot be searched
They should be searcheable even thought they might be in the non-migrated multilingual state.

I've just been notified of a duplicate record. This is a problem and I have now realised that the back log in ODC records being imported is contributing to this issue.
The majority of records which were automatically imported still remain in the non-migrated multilingual state therefore cannot be searched. This means that potentially many records that are currently being uploaded are actually in fact already on the system but not being identified or called when a search is done. The data entry staff then upload the record thinking that it's new.
We need to migrate all of these records as a matter of urgency otherwise duplicates will continue to be uploaded.
Action plan needed and further discussion on resources to get this done.
