Map explorer metadata info window alignment #906

Open DBishton opened 8 years ago

DBishton commented 8 years ago

The alignment of the metadata info window for map explorer data layers would look neater if aligned to the left rather than right.

The error occurred if the get empty from CKAN dataset. To avoid showing like above, code will be updated to not showing the toggle info box if empty data retrieved.

I don't think it is different if the box is aligned to left. In addition, the info box should show next to the info button that is clicked. Why we need to click on right side, and then read the information on left side. I don't think it is good to demonstrate this way with the large resolution of the screen. However, if everyone still thought that align to left is better, I will change its position.

@DBishton @Huyeng -- I raised this as at ask in TMWP: https://odinitiative.teamworkpm.net/tasks/6533277

It should be included in the overall re-design and edition of the site to make all the fonts, styles etc consistent and more appealing. @acorbi can you give estimate of time frame? I note that on ODC, ODM, ODV and ODMm the map explorer functionality is inconsistent and this needs to be rectified.
