would it be possible for the logs from opendronemap to be written to s3?
so if it does complete. you can know start/end times, etc.?
so that if it doesn't complete you can see any logged errors (in case the instance is terminated in a scale down or what not?)?

The better approach here would be to save them to cloudwatch and from there they could be exported to an s3 bucket if desired.
