Driver for Realtek Cardreader (RTS5139) #1252

Closed geeb33 closed 11 years ago

geeb33 commented 11 years ago

Hi

My HTPC includes a hardwired Realtek xD, SDXC, SDHC Cardreader (identifies as RTS5139 under Ubuntu 12.04). The required driver doesn't seem to be included in 1.95.7.

If you require any more information please let me know. Thanks in advance. Gerry.

the # CONFIG_RTS5139 is not set has to be enabled :)

geeb33 commented 11 years ago

Thanks for your reply mrdominuzq. Can that be enabled without compiling or shall I'll compile with that in the linux config file?

geeb33 commented 11 years ago

Found it and set as kernel module in Generic/linux/linux.i386.conf. Compiling now. Huge thanks for the pointer mrdominuzq :)

mrdominuzq commented 11 years ago

no problem :)

mrdominuzq commented 11 years ago

did it work :) ?

jelinekj commented 11 years ago

Hello, please help me. I have the same problem with lenovo Q180, I know how to solve. Very Thanks !

mrdominuzq commented 11 years ago

i thought this was solved :) we just need a pull request

jelinekj commented 11 years ago

Thanks for the quick reply. I do not know how to do this: # CONFIG_RTS5139 set to enabled in Generic/linux/linux.i386.conf :(( You help me?

mrdominuzq commented 11 years ago

if you look in the Generic/linux/linux.i386.conf file, there is a line with # CONFIG_RTS5139= is not set change this to -> CONFIG_RTS5139=m and compile

jelinekj commented 11 years ago

Unfortunately, do not know how. I need really detailed instructions.
