Resolution messed up - depends on starting order of devices #2085

Hi guys,

i am using a Arctic MC001 with OE RC5. Its connected via HDMI to my Yamaha amp which is connected via HDMI to my Panasonic TV.

If i do not switch on my Yamaha Amp and change to HDMI channel of the MC001 before i boot OpenElec it switches to a resolution with (i think it was) xxx x 1000 instead of 1080p. And i am not able to change to 1080p in menu because it is not available. If i switch on my amp first and then OE everything is ok.

Any way to fix this?

This is probably because your AVR or TV sends the wrong info to the graphics card, telling it that it doesn't support 1080p or so...

ask Yamaha for a firmware upgrade.
