I suspect fluxbox but not quite sure, had same problem on my machines and i removed fluxbox and it worked, but have to go trough logs to be sure.

9 years ago Okay just wanted to give You an update, nothing in the log that would give any hint. But Applied this http://git.fluxbox.org/fluxbox.git/commit/?id=7b8fd2d81ad80a73564fc9fbb779f47568f12652 and it gave me a confluence background and menu when i start navigate trough menu.
I will try and see if i can narrow it down :)

9 years ago The first commit makes highly sense. The removal of the dead code is not needed.

9 years ago mmh, the second commit tells to "remove dead code" - then it seems it was not dead at all.
Please verify this and please PR the commit that was needed.

9 years ago i tried running without window manager. no problem at all, so why do have it :)?

if people want to use a browser as an example, they should take their phone, tablet, laptop and the browser :)

CPU: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics GPU: Radeon HD 6320
I today build the neuest version from git. the version starts booting. i see the init scripts then Xorg starts with a mouse pointer after this the mouse keep there. if i use RPC API to start a video the sound starts but the screen is also black.
the kodi.log show no errors. the Xorg.0.log has many lines like:
i delete all data in /storage and reboot but te error keeps the same :/
before i use the git version 08ff2497a6605ef68bd9b9e99fc6f8eb556aa8bf there this is not happening.
when more logs or infos are needed ask for it :)
