diskdev_cmds = no change. newer versions available in darwin sources but nobody has ever updated the linux port so all distros (Ubuntu/Arch/etc.) still use this ancient version
serdisplib = last version and used by lcdproc
imx-vpu 5.4.31 is fine libfslvpuwrap 1.0.58 is fine
gpu-viv-bin-mx6q 3.10.17-1.0.0-1 can be 3.10.17-1.0.2 for current (old sr) kernel and xbian kernel can be 5.0.11.p4.5 for new sr kernel
gpu-viv-g2d 3.10.17-1.0.2 is fine for current (old sr) kernel and xbian kernel can be 5.0.11.p4.5 for new sr kernel
btw: I moved my imx6 tinkering to xbian kernel 4.4.1
all files are already uploaded by me in sources
@vpeter4 can you PR kernel and packages updates please for imx6 (asap)? would like to have it in 7.0
Which kernel (SR 3.14.60 or Xbian 4.4.1)? Who is going to maintain it? In either case we are alone because in SR case they don't have have any interest in supporting OpenELEC directly anymore (waiting for this already for months). In Xbian case it is a little strange to use their version directly... There is also Kodi imx6 support which is far superior in Xbian then with us (we are using plain Kodi).
Anyway, I didn't use SR kernel for a while and I'm building new image already (will take lot of time because my build system is busy this weekend (load average >4 for a long time).

@vpeter http://www.freescale.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO//libfslvpuwrap-1.0.62.bin is avaible http://www.freescale.com/lgfiles/NMG/MAD/YOCTO/imx-vpu-5.4.32.bin is avaible ...
I know it is available. Also vivante binaries. But is everything compatible with everything else? I'm not familiar with this magic around what is compatible with what. That's why I'm using something which works.
imx-vpu and libfslvpuwrap updated via #4680
I saw. But this has nothing to make imx6 project any better.

@sraue I don't know if you like to keep it that someone who wants that only needs to change the versions and hit go !?
is there someone who still creates builds with this? if we dont know we could remove and see who complains?
otherwise this package will not be maintained and no one will know anything about this, which i like to avoid
