Linaro GCC 4.9.4 vs Linaro GCC 6.3.1 Compile Issue

Hi, In your wiki, you have mentioned that any compiler newer that 4.2 should be fine for compilation. I have used Linaro Toolchain and tried both:

• gcc-linaro-4.9.4-2017.01-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf
• gcc-linaro-6.3.1-2017.02-x86_64_arm-linux-gnueabihf

Both could create the Image and compile finished successfully. However, Image file compiled with Linaro GCC 6.3.1 could boot, resized the partition but could not get into Kodi. Screen Flicks continuously. Image created with Linaro GCC 4.9.4 was Ok.

Any advice why this happening?
