unstable CEC link with imx6 and openelec 8.0.2 #5039

I'm using CuBox i2ex and an old Samsung LE42A676 TV (from 2010) hdmi cec (called Anynet on Samsung devices) compatibility is unstable : I need to restart OpenElec to make it detected by my TV, and the link remains active from a few minutes to a few hours. Then, the link became undetectable. Previous versions (7 series) were much more stable but let it happen from times to times

Same here and also with 8.0.3. Issue is that ir is blinking and cec adapter is not being found. Due to an error in one of my plugins in 8.0.2 kodi restarted. After that there was no blinking ir anymore and cec was found as an recorder instead of kodi, tv is then still not able to connect and use cec.

Since 8.x and up and the latest of 7.x i needed to select the cec device when i was on the correct hdmi number to get cec/ anynet working. In 6.x it worked automatically.

I noticed quite an improvement with 8.0.3 : the cec adapter is found for a longer time, and I can connect and disconnect the cec link a few times before the adapter is shown as "recorder" instead of "kodi". I also noticed that I have to connect twice and disconnect twice from my TV for the cec link to activate or desactivate properly
