Restore net boot functionality #5066

I have a few devices running OpenElec using PXE net booting to reduce the need for flash cards/usb sticks and so forth. This has been running very well for me for years. I'm surprised this was removed from the latest version. It would be nice to have this functionality restored, or at least an explanation of why it way removed.

Just wanted to chime in here as well. The PXE network boot feature was great. I also vote to have this put back in :+1:

Please restore NFS Boot !!! I don't like to hear a disk drive and a SSD is too expensive ! Network Boot simplify update for all my client. Actually I run a LibreElec 8.2.3 with NFS and it run really fine, I've never know unwanted issue with NFS in the past.
