is it normal that the driver version is the same that OE1.0.2 ?

r8712u: DriverVersion: v7_0.20100831

policenauts commented 12 years ago

I did try using a fixed IP within the DHCP range --> KO why in network settings even without cable there is status cable: connected ? sometime my MAC adress appear sometime, busy. ?

policenauts commented 12 years ago

It seems still not working in OE beta 4 when I check in network parameters, I have the not connected message. I think I didn't write it before, but I use WEP security.

sraue commented 11 years ago

can you check with WPA? i never tried WEP much, but i think WEP is broken for a longer time now

policenauts commented 11 years ago

I checked today, first with final release, it worked a few time then it deconnect, I switched off the PC, changed with OE beta 4, change settings, reboot, ko, try couple of time, ko. back to final, also ko this time.

policenauts commented 11 years ago

here are some pastebin, if it could help (1.95.7).

dmesg: http://pastebin.com/aEVTiLt9

xml settings: http://pastebin.com/k5546vMd

here there are some stranges things, pwd was show as if it was in qwerty (kyb in azerty) it will be nice instead that password is still hide if it was possible to show what we write for a short time.

ifconfig: http://pastebin.com/Th2jVMFQ

settings: http://pastebin.com/pbZgT4hM

policenauts commented 11 years ago

still present in 2.0 RC1 as for the remote problem who works fine in first final release.

sraue commented 11 years ago

closing, if this problem still exist with our latest releases please open a new report
