Generic Beta 2&3 black screen after OpenELEC logo. #615

On Generic beta 1 everything good but on beta 2&3 after OpenELEC logo screen goes black. But the strange thing is XBMC working while screen black because when I touch the remote control arrow keys I can hear menu sound :)

I already delete .xbmc folder and try it, but no help.

If somebody needs more log output I will send it.

My generic system has Nvidia on-board video:

I can confirm similar behavior on my system. In my case release 10416 (Generic-PVR) does not have any problem with display.

My system has integrated nVidia GeForce 7050PV and AMD CPU combination. System is connected to TV through HDMI.

I have tested manual upgrade, manual upgrade with deleted .xbmc folder and installation from scratch. None works.

With upgrade I can also confirm that XBMC starts as I can hear sound and can change TV channels with remote. Screen just stays blank.

hi, can you both test please this build: http://sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/test/OpenELEC-Generic.i386-devel-20120510071923-r10899.tar.bz2

Hi Stephan,

I can confirm that at least fresh install works as expected.

Many thanks.
