[RPi] No audio when playing audio file from airplay #744

When I try to send audio to my RPi via airplay from my iPhone, it shows the visualization but nothing plays.

If I send a video file it seems to work fine.

I am using analog audio.

also no sound from itunes to rpi over airplay

Same here. Is the libshairplay installed by default? Or is it working? The video is not related to the audio playback, this is a libshairplay related issue.

I think it's due to the lack of ALSA

hm, maybe. i didn't check that. is there any documentation about how to enable alsa? at least for those who'll find this topic in the future.

There is no alsa support for RPi as of yet

okay, thanks! than I think the AirTunes will not work until alas is ported to rpi...

I also cannot play music via AirPlay, but video plays fine from my iTunes and iPhone. This is a great feature to have, I think

If this issue is still present with our latest builds please report XBMC related bugs to http://trac.xbmc.org because RPi support is now merged to XBMC officially.
