Addon Request - Omniverse & Lazy Library #863

I don't know if you guys are aware that there are two other downloaders/managers available much like Sick Beard / Couch Potato & Headphones.

Omniverse - Comic book downloader/manager - https://github.com/four-o-four/omniverse Lazy Library - eBook downloader/manager - https://github.com/Mar2zz/LazyLibrarian

It would be the ultimate if these could be integrated into the SabNzbd Suite.

If I did this wrong, please don't shoot me.

you read books on your TV ? is there any ebook reader addon for xbmc or am I completely missing the point ?

nomandera commented 12 years ago

The sab suite is already IMO too much work and not core to OE. The only reason team OE done it originally was demand but we should not take on the burden of yet more non essential addons.

These tools will be of interest but they should be developed by others and pushed upstream to OE.

How we actually achieve this though is an unknown this now so leaving ticket open until that mechanism/queue exists

@stefansaraev no I don't read books on my TV, but I use my OpenELEC machine as the one and only "server" in my house for pretty much everything.

I'd rather have one single device that multiple running different services and for different purposes.

@anoma I completely understand that it might not be core to OE itself. Unfortunately as a non-developer and only recently having joined Github because I was fearful of you coders :) I don't know how to approach it at all but having seen no request or conversation around it I decided to mention it here just for awareness sake so that maybe someone more development inclined would notice it.

Github itself scares me enough because I don't know what the hell is going on.
