Dedicated cycle ways & priory for cyclists over road uses.
Two elements: 1) cycling as the last mile alternative to aid the commute & school run. So putting bikes onto our trains & dare I say it.. buses.
2) cycling for pleasure - using the borough as a gateway into the South Downs National Park - open up the rural hinterland- improve awareness of bridleways.
Hi @coops257, thanks very much for leaving a comment! Would you be up for submitting it as a new proposal? (This change was just to tidy up a previous proposal since it didn't show up on the main page.)
If you would like to submit a proposal but get stuck, just let me know. There are some clues in this twitter thread but I should really try and write it up somewhere properly! https://twitter.com/jtonline/status/1234182711704768512?s=19
Final call for objections before this change is added to the manifesto.
The first manifesto policy wasn't visible so moving it to a transport section on the main page
