There are four Air Qaulity Management Areas in Eastleigh and local councils are running a campaign to reduce wood burning.

What policies could improve our air quality?

Dead against wood burning for many reasons. Also I don't agree that it is "carbon neutral" as it shifts carbon from where you grow the tree to where you burn the tree, not to mention the smoke, soot, waste, etc. Indeed with cooking I am a complete advocate of electricity because it is the one energy source that can be more or less pollution free. Plus induction cooking, assuming you can afford buying an induction hob... utterly rocks.
