Hi Josh, We have not used macrofab, but we had these boards manufactured by OSHPark, and in the past we've used GoldPhoenix. The process was similar for both manufacturers. We added some instructions to the Wiki page and uploaded our Gerber and drill files (sorry those were missing before). I hope that helps!

Ace thanks for responding and the amaing project I want to add to. I have used oshpark a lot they do a great job. Also even made ads1298 boards with them. But I could never get the code to respond well after soldering it together. Goldphenix mouser parts list was the one I was fallowing I put it in octopart bom tool to try to see what parts I can get. Gerber and drill from kicad help. I generated them but having the position filled or macrofab likes to call it XYRS file show the components put down in their web interface is where I'm stuck. I'm going to try adding a auxiliary axis marking so things are made relative. That might work. But anyway the parts list could be checked with octopart bom tool and mouser bom tool it would help then eatch developer in different places could work with the hardware with version silkscreen on the board.

@josheeg you wrote, "But I could never get the code to respond well after soldering it together." Where you using hardware designs and code from one of the OpenElectronicsLab repositories?

josheeg commented 7 years ago

I had designed it before I knew of OpenElectronicsLab repositories this was somewhere around when i first found OSHPark. So when I looked for arduino libraries etc. I found requests on forums for them.

I ordered a board assembled in macrofab the units x and y and size were in mills 1/1000th of a inch. the position of some components had to be forced to insert the mouser parts list from the gold phenix order showed up in octopart.
