@christian-rli You should fix the conflict in this PR. Also there are jsonschema based tests that should be executed. If they pass the schmea is valid with the example for each version.

Have a look at the tests.

Thanks for the the info. I see two ways of fixing this, described in the issue #112 . Do you have an opinion on what way is better?

This branch as it was built on an outdated version. I implemented @steull 's changes to a new branch and will create a new PR for it.
