Inclusion of possibility to filter the Fact Sheets (FS) and to view a limited number of characteristics;

It will be possible to add Tags to the FS. Comparisons of characteristics can be made for all Models (Frameworks, scenarios) or by chosing a subset e.g.

• all models with a certain tag
• or all models with a certain characteristic (e.g. all python models, all open liceced models) and then either chosing one of the proposed view-templates or chosing up to 8 characteristics (+ modelname, which is always visible) that should be compared. (@martin: I would prefer little more than 8: if someone want to compare availability of various technologies 8 will not be enough to include even just the most important of them)

To chose the characteristics for the comparison, these will be sorted in the same manner as they are for including a new model (general, openness,....) with clickboxes to chose the characteristics for the view; if the maximum number of characteristics is reached it will be no more possible to set a hook (or cross - whatever will be used)

preset views (possible for all models or a filtered selection of the models):

1. View with the following informations (columns) ("general model view"): Accronym; primary purpose; model class; time resolution; modelled energy sectors (final energy); geographical coverage; programming language; licence
2. View with the following informations (columns) ("model scope"): Accronym; primary purpose; typical questions
3. view table with all open source models and frameworks (is that possible? would be good to have all of them gathered in one view) with the informations on openness ("open frameworks and models"): is it a framework or model; license; programming language;support/community/forum; link to source code; data provided; primary purpose
4. View table of all Frameworks with the following informations (columns) ("scope of frameworks"): accronym; primary purpose; modelled demand sectors; license, programming language, support/community/forum,

The first page of model Fact Sheets will already be one view: Acronym Name of model Model class (nicht description sondern nur was angekreuzt ist (geht das in einem Feld?? Nicht wenn das mehrere Felder braucht)) Modelling software Open source licence Tags (up to 4 tags of the model should be visible)

The first page of framework Fact Sheets will also include one view: logo (if available) Accronym name of framework licence Support/Community/Forum number of developers Tags (all tags of the model should be visible)

Good choice. Perhaps add one filter for the Scenarios on "Time frame"

There is a search field that addresses parts of this issue already. A full-fledged filter view might be a lot of work and difficult to include in the current projects, but maybe we can include some of the comments in the scenario comparison @han-f ?

Hm. I think this is a difficult issue as this seems to relate to factsheets, and not to data tables, right? May we want to address this together with all @OpenEnergyPlatform/oep-developer as part of a larger search/filter functionality issue that may include more than one part of the website? And discuss user and platform view together? cc @adelmemariani @l-emele @stap-m @wingechr
