In my understanding regionalisation
in the context of energy system analysis is a modelling approach/methodology in which spatial distribution of energy producers and consumers are explicetly depicted. So it is the opposite of using a copper plate model.
I agree to that, can we say:
regionalisation
(in energy system analysis) is a methodology, that spatially distributes energy producers and energy consumers with the aim to highlight regional differencies in energy supply and potentials, particularly related to renewable energies.
Methodology sounds reasonable. Slightly adjusted @u-mueller proposal to harmonize with the other subclasses: Regionalisation is a methodology to calculate spatially distributed energy producers and consumers with the aim to highlight regional differences in energy supply and potentials, particularly related to renewable energies. ?
@nelekoehler do you want to implement?
yes I can do that
Description of the issue
For the study factsheet descriptors we need to add the term
regionalisation
. Use case: Describing a scenario study that deal with regionalisation of power plants / energy generartion units / ...See also: https://github.com/OpenEnergyPlatform/oekg/issues/19
