• heat pump technology: A heat pump technology is a heat generation technology that describes how to combine heat pumps, heat generation processes, energy carriers and energy in a specific way.
• electrical heating technology: An electrical heating technology is a heat generation technology that describes how to combine electrical heaters, heat generation processes, energy carriers and energy in a specific way.
• combustion based heating technology: A combustion based heating technology is a heat generation technology that describes how to combine combustion based heaters, heat generation processes, energy carriers and energy in a specific way.
• combined heat and power plant is inferred as heat plant. Therefore combined heat and power technology should be added. Either as own category, or inferred as subclasses of both, power generating technology and heat generating technology. @l-emele any preference?

I think to add meaningful heat generation technology I think we should first add some additional processes:

• electrical heating or electrical heat generating process: Electrical heating is an energy transformation process that converts electrical energy to thermal energy. Axiom: 'electrical heating' 'has participant' some 'electrical heater'

Then electrical heating technology can me define much more concise: An electrical heating technology is a technology that describes how to combine electrical heaters in a heat generation process with electrical energy as input in a specific way.

Similarly for the other heat generation technologies, where we should define e.g. a heat pumping process first.

I also suggest to add some alternative labels:

• heating technology as alternative to heat generation technology
• heating as alternative to heat generation process.
