How to build a new binary for the Raspberry LAN9252 example #144

After quite a bit of trial and error, I was able to get the SOES application built and running(More Specifically the Raspberry LAN9252 application). I wanted to start working toward customizing my system to be able change the sizes of the PDO tables for specific application. To do that a new binary for the EEPROM would need to be compiled and then saved to the system using the SOEM eeprom tool correct? Is there a guide on how to create a new binary for the system? I tried the EasyCat Configurator tool, but that seems to break the functionality of the SOES loop, and the system no longer detects state changes. I'm still pretty new to ethercat, and any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

It also seems like the included binary doesnt have any inputs or outputs listed? I uploaded the eeprom to it and ran slave info(from SOEM), only to find none listed for it
