As an F2 developer, I'd like to have a script that adds back depreciated functionality, so I can have more time to transition to version 1.5.
I propose we create a new repo to add back the functionality removed by #213, #214, and #215. We can support it for a couple point releases and then remove official support. This will allow developers to upgrade to 1.5 without having to replace any of their code.
