Can ""C be used to replace C_NULL_CHAR #31

Is the following "standard" non-standard practice?

str = "fortran_string" // ""C end

I've never seen the ""C. Is that standard Fortran?

I think I understand the '"standard" non-standard" phrasing now. I guess this is an extension.
