I started a Google Doc to draft new text for this part of the website: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nKCIucslTBs-HTbRugdsrg-uExnjr4Z2akkTDcuIhnw/edit?usp=sharing
Currently pulling text from the OGM metadata repository wiki to make it easier for us to edit together.
A draft of content for the new "Get Started with OGM" page is ready for review here: OGM-How to structure your repo
The home page currently outlines Stanford's "pear tree" method in which every record has the same name (geoblacklight.json) but is nested in coded folders. This seems to be related to the way GeoCombine works.
Another option is to create metadata records with unique filenames, e.g. these examples by Harvard and the Big Ten.
