Legistream could be DoSed very easily by a bot rapidly requesting /tas
, since it would run ffmpeg
on the server, a fairly memory and CPU intensive program (compared to everything else running), so enough requests could probably crash Legistream within a few minutes.
The next House of Assembly sitting is on Tuesday, March 16th (continuing until Thursday), and the next Legislative Council sitting is on Friday, March 19th.
Will test on those days to determine whether to merge these changes.
Since NumPy is working on Windows and Linux again, it shouldn't be too hard to get Tasmania's parliament working with a small update to legistream-backend.
