Add a repository for installation.

What kind of repo do you think of - probably for Linux? What's so difficult to download just one file and install/update it using your native package manager like apt, dnf, zypper, etc.? As you see, deb is in front for linux downloads as today, but also rpm and even tgz is requested, not to forget the unloved step child (Win).
