This includes quite a lot...

Well you've dragged me kicking and screaming to upgrade from python 2.7

It was a bit of a mare avoiding not damaging my osgeo4w python installation but think I got there in the end. Then there was tricking eclipse to not use the wrong python.

Will hopefully get round to making some steps forward tomorrow!

You should be able to run different python versions in parallel. Don't know Eclipse, but should you not be able to set up different run configurations quite easily?

I was hoping we could finally forget about Python 2.x...

All sorted. For some reason python 3.4 was refusing to install until 2.7 wasn't in the active path and python path. Likewise eclipse was being a bit funny and defaulting to python path within the registry. On 22 Sep 2014 13:02, "Florenz A.P. Hollebrandse" notifications@github.com wrote:
