@diepeterpan Strangely, I can't boot Sonoma Dev Beta 4 with boot-arg itlwm_cc=FR

If you turn on -v (verbose) booting do you see where it gets stuck booting?

Matgen84 commented 12 months ago

Thanks. I removed the corrupted config.plist and replace. I can boot successfully Sonoma Beta. Using boot-arg itlwm_cc=FR.

Thanks, worked for me too.

Looks like it, I can login to iMessage, Facetime etc. Was not sure whether built-in must be 00 or 01 , currently running with "built-in" 01 as device property in Opencore on my Intel AX 210 card. Thank you!!

Nope not working, I did further testing, signed out of iCloud on Sonoma, and could not log back into iCloud. Tried 00 and 01, clearing NVRAM did not help either. Switched to the Intel Ethernet driver and immediately I could log in again. :-(

@zxystd kernel panic occurs during update to macOS Sonoma beta 5 and I also tried with full installer but no luck this is due to unupdated AirportItlwm-Sonoma-Preview04 when I disabled this kext then updated successfully screenshot attached below Screenshot 2023-08-09 at 2 48 38 AM please update the kext this guy also faced same issue during update and he mentioned on insanelymac forum Screenshot 2023-08-09 at 3 03 46 AM

I also tested it, and was kinda hoping it would be fixed. @zxystd Thank you so much for this, can you confirm that iServices are still broken using the AirportItlwm 5 for Sonoma?

Then pushing my luck, do you think it is fixable? Anything we doing wrong?

ResQre commented 11 months ago

Thought iMessage & FaceTime still not work, airplay is back. What a trade-off! Sonoma beta 5.

Kwokping commented 11 months ago

Beta 5 (intel 8260) ok for the time being.

Sonoma beta 5 in general seems to be running better with less bugs from earlier builds for now

ameenjuz commented 11 months ago

Still working without FaceTime & imessage

johnpapad24 commented 11 months ago

Yes without facetime and imessage

maxpicelli commented 11 months ago

It’s necessary make EFI and kexts working fine. Not just put on it. To me work fine since first beta. Maybe you need doing fine tune with MalDon from Olarila. I’m absolutely sure that with right kexts and configs woks nice and smooth. It’s recommended not use with Broadcom pcie together.

johnpapad24 commented 11 months ago

What's exactly needed to add to the opencore config file?

A special smbios fix?

maxpicelli commented 11 months ago

Nothing special, only use Hackintool and extract pcie .plist and add Device Properties. Only check your kexts and opencore, ssdts with all basic and run.

If you don't use Sonoma and Intel Wireless then your configuration won't work in getting iMessage / iServices working on Intel Wireless and Sonoma.

diepeterpan commented 11 months ago

Can see that, I am also sitting in the same boat where iServices is not working on Sonoma with native Intel wireless, for now, I am using the Ethernet edition with HeliPort on Sonoma where iServices at least works but no location services, which is an improved experience. Can't wait to find the solution to iServices with native Intel Wireless in Sonoma.

First, you guys need check if your EFI is completely configured for your hardware. Many people use other hardwares EFI.

Im compile with Xcode my own kexts, use SSDTTime to extract SSDTs bases. After, Mapping your USB ports exactly compatible with your own hardware, not third people posts on Git Hub for example. Use original and FULL Opencore build with Xcode. Even the base Opencore from Dortania will works. If not can check "like" Professional or Advanced user, or with help from someone, just said that not works not show the truth if your configuration, BIOS, EFI kexts etc, not is fine.

My posts and EFi is in insanely Mac, and kexts compile is from "Hackintosh & Beyound" Channel from YouTube. Friend mine.

Your feedback us not useful. Do you have Sonoma and Intel Wireless with iServices working or not?

Kewl, then give proper assistance please, cause it seems like there's a number of people struggling to get iServices on Sonoma beta to work using Intel native Wireless. My configuration works in Ventura, where I use iServices, Intel native Wireless but not in Sonoma.

Saying the following is like telling someone to become a Dr you need to study hard and do you maths blah blah bah, not helpful.

Assist is with Maldon in Olarila.com forum. He has all tools to help. And he live from donations. Im not so advanced user, only do what is best for my EFI stay running well.

Start here

https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/tree/main/03_USB_Fixes/ACPI_Mapping_USB_Ports

Why? Are you saying iServices on Sonoma with Intel native Wireless is not working because of USB port mapping? How do you get that conclusion? Can you share your config file (not a screen capture)?

Now, you use itlwm instead.

diepeterpan commented 11 months ago

Ok guys, last manifest here.

Im take it off my BROADCOM Wifi card, because my MOBO has AX 211 intel Native.

Im not use intel, but to prove the magic im send to you this print screen without Fenvi Broadcom

YES the magic is not only Ethernet, but are you use only Laptop? iMessage depends your lives to send from only combo wi-fi? Works without ethernet cable. You are so bored but for prove that im post here.

Here

@zxystd I am using Preview 05 of Airportitlwm with My Intel Wireless AC 9560 160MHz. I can connect to my Wi-Fi running on 160MHz band but when i run speed test it works fine until it tests the upload speed. It will run at around 40mbps (given that the upload speed is slow in 9560) but the thing is it will stop and disconnects the wifi and reconnects after. I can download just fine but when I upload, it does the same thing.

I don't know if this was due to the fact that my card is 0034 instead of 0030 or maybe not related at all.
