The main gap in knowledge in CoPilot is around testing the hypothesis that "the product is useful, relevant and easy to use for your primary target audience in a training environment"; and that any insights that challenge this hypothesis will drive further work, research and more testing.

Throughout the research and design document there are key design considerations that were articulated as a result of the human-centered design approach we used. These could be used as key proxy indicators for success that we ought to test going forward, focusing on identifying new ones as people try it in real life and other unexpected user-led challenges arise.

We should put together the main human-centered design considerations that drove the development of this tool in a list (column a) and in column b detail the target audience for each (we currently have two, the primary lay trainers and the technical internet freedomy community). From there we can then add columns around methods and frequency and revise our suggestions.

I think that producing and publishing our internal guide for testing this tool outwardly along with the project will also allow others who might adapt or promote it in the future to have the tools to evaluate its usefulness to their communities. While, this is too much to ask of trainers, it might allow some other organization who picks it up as a possible solution to more quickly evaluate if it is ready, or can be made ready, to support their needs.
