Ease of Setup
- plug and play
- Ease of set-up,
- I would not use this if the setup was a pain.
- I would not use this if it was complex to setup.
- I would not use this "If it requires too much time to set up... it usually will not be worth it, as there is often already a lot to prepare for a training and this demonstration"
- I would not use this if the tool is too hard to set up
Speed of setup
- I would not use this if it requires more work to setup/implement in a class than an ordinary router?
- Time.
Ease of Use
- Ease of use (GUI, simple set-up / adding of censorship profiles, fast setup, etc)
- Ease of use for the trainer.
- I would not use this if it had poor usability, primarily.
- I would not use this if I thought it was too complicated to learn well enough not to cause harm.
- I should probably put the emphasis on switching easily - I just want to push a button and -- voila! -- the change happens.

Selective Blocking
- A selective ability to turn on different types of blocking in an easy manner would be awesome: DNS blocking, IP blocking, etc.
- The most important feature would be for the tool to be able to block access to websites that trainees use a lot like Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter during the training.
Sharable Trainer Profiles
- I'd want to be able to switch very easily between environments for two situations. 1) For people living along a border who have access to two providers from different nations, under different restrictions; 2) for countries that have one set of restrictions most of the time, and then a tougher set during, say, elections. Anyway, I should probably put the emphasis on switching easily - I just want to push a button and -- voila! -- the change happens.
- would need the tool to create censorship environments that are as realistic as possible - preferably by offering the ability to chose among simulations of various real-world censorship regimes (ie, "corporate firewall, Great Britain's content filter, China).
- Being customizable, and folks sharing the profiles they've created.
- guidance on real-world scenarios where such blocking could be in place and guidance on advising which tools can overcome the blocking.
- Accuracy to actual censoring environments
- The ability to turn on and off specific types of censorship in a very granular way -- AND have a list of notable censorship regimes that are known to rely on any particular technique (so as to make it clear that the trainee's experiences in the training session are actually very realistic and applicable to real-word environments).

Ease of understanding
- I would not use this if the environments (and the differences between them) are too difficult to understand and communicate it could limit uptake.
The Co-Pilot needs a user-interface for the customization and management of the co-pilot device.
