Set up 10gbe networking between 2 desktops #17

Unfortunately only one 10gbe sfp+ card and one xfp card are working. I will be trying to make the other sfp+ card word or find a way to connect the sfp+ to xfp. If i am unable to make the other sfp card word nor the sfp to xfp, i will test if its possible to do IP over FC. ETA: best case i make the sfp to xfp work we should have 10gbe today 20-th of August. worst case we need to buy a 10gbe card from ebay. (this is more preferable because we can theoretically do up to 40gb). Please let me know if you have any suggestion.

From the test i did, I wasn't able to make the 2 cards to work. So i had to contact the local hardware resellers but only one of them has any 10gb card. The issue with the 10gb card was that it is FC card and not a network card. With the permission from the infra team, I have ordered an HP card from eBay. The estimated delivery is 20-th of October, hope we get it sooner.

Update: the 10gb link has been setup by @kominoshja around 3 weeks ago. Will test on the future for 20gb. Closing this issue
