Information on what changed can be found in the diff of the GDTF Share Wiki Page v0.87..v0.88 and all commits of the gdtf-libraries repo (which seems to have been deleted temporarily in the meantime, because the older commits are gone).

In the meantime, GDTF version 1.0 was released. Here is the diff on the GDTF Share Wiki Page v0.88..v1.0.
