The logo used on the website (https://openms.de/images/openms-logo.png) is an old version where the red spectrum lines are visible inside some of the text ("OPE"). In the newer version the text covers those lines (e.g. https://github.com/OpenMS/images/blob/master/logos/OpenMS_transparent_background.png). The newer version of the logo looks better, so the website should be updated to use it.
