Automated installation tests #3389

Would be cool if we would ship a test suite in the installers that could be ran on clean deployment machines.

Something like this: https://cmake.org/Wiki/CTest:TestWithoutBuild Or just shell scripts. @oliveralka started on a small script for some adapters.

sounds like a great idea. Do you currently have limitations in compute resources for this? If so maybe we should talk
