VS2019 comes with C++ Build Insights which allows event tracing for build tools, thus figuring out why a build takes as long as it does, e.g. pinpointing certain headers etc.. https://devblogs.microsoft.com/cppblog/introducing-c-build-insights/

Currently, the Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA) download is broken, so I cannot evaluate the .etl files at the moment...
