which version to use? In 2.4 Sirius is not working anymore. Nightlies have many changes and might need way more testing.

I would say, use 2.4 and skip Metabo DeNovo, if planned at all.
I tested the workflows with 2.4 from the KNIME 4.0 update site which has some changes in GKN. So we might need to check if the instructions are still the same (only the OutputType dialog should have changed).
I created a branch release/2.4.0 that should always hold the latest working versions of workflows made with 2.4.0. Tutorials that use 2.4.0 branch-off from this one. Tutorials which use nightlies, from the master branch.
