OpenMandriva Lx is an exciting free Desktop Operating System that aims to cater to and interest first time and advanced users alike. It has the breadth and depth of an advanced system but is designed to be simple and straightforward in use.
Developer sees suspicious line (from journalctl -b):
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in ""
and thought it was the desktop manager. the image installed SDDM.
It seems to be looking for something related to Wayland.
When the panel crashes, I can only open a terminal window via right-clicking the desktop, which does not display a window title bar, so the terminal window cannot be enlarged or made full-screen. Have to run reboot now or shutdown now from that window.
OpenMandriva versions:
LXQt Cooker build 1899 and Rolling/ROME build 1826
Describe the bug: After login, the LXQt panel either will not display, or if it does, it disappears within one second.
Steps to reproduce: Above
Observed behavior: LXQt panel disappears or does not display after login.
Expected behavior: Panel should load in without crashing.
