Terminal in Pi4 full OS failing to exec Script #66

Please change the title. My raspberry pi4 [linux pi4 5.10.63-v71+ #1488], being booted both ways as CLI and Desktop (using its terminal) and windows 10 laptops using CMD Prompt and Putty are the wrong desktop environments or for some seriously weird way none are working on either correctly to use the script but highly doubtful, maybe I don’t know how to type or paste. So on a new raspberry pi4 with a full OS installed and updated and upgraded what desktop environment was loaded to the pi4 that while I have a monitor and keyboard connected can I use to paste or type the wget script or like you said skip the network setup and use the PI’s terminal which I did but did not work either but since I did not give up I downloaded the “install” file 5 different times as a named script but could not get the sudo ./install -n to work in my terminals mentioned above. Also tried booting Pi4 to desktop not CLI and knew I could open "install" and edit/open in GNOME editor but still I could not execute the script.

I do need help because the Putty terminal, windows cmd prompt and Pi4 terminal in both CLI and desktop of course all do say desktop environment not supported. Could I need to edit a line in GNOME to get it working in Putty?

Has the script changed to work on a different appliance or desktop?

If you read the guide, you will see that it tells you to use the Lite image. The desktop causes problems with OMV and should not be needed because OMV's web interface does everything. The script was changed to not allow installation when a desktop environment is found.
