Imping cure disease #250

Cure disease, is a level three shal'ille spell, but now when zombies no longer dements players and battereds no longer enfeeble players it is much harder now. You would have to go to throne room and getting beating bad by tuskeds to improve it or goto brax and get raped my daemon skeletons, for just a level three spell. It just does not make it worth to imp and that is to bad. I would like to revert battered and zombies back to the way they were but that is maybe just me. Anyone got any other solution to this 'problem'? :)

Breazy commented 10 years ago

duke/cess shields working dement/cure disease together, but aside from that... unsure.

That was one of the downsides to that change unfortunately

theanax commented 10 years ago

All things that needs to be improved should not require another player, that's what spawns mules.

Beumac commented 10 years ago

I have to agree with anax, I don't care if people work things on eachother but that should not be the only way.

Breazy commented 10 years ago

I didn't say it was. He asked for ideas and I gave him one. I never said it's how it should be.

todasj commented 10 years ago

Yeah I know dement, but you should not need another player to imp a level three spell. I've always just grabbed loads of reagents then let zombies hit me and cure disease myself but now I'd have to build a riija mule or get alot of hp so I can take on tuskeds/daemon skellies.

Fike103 commented 10 years ago

And tuskeds dont dement or enfeeble you anymore. Why cant we just add the enfeeble option to some useless low hp monster instead? My first guess would be a snow rat, who enfeebles you with 100% of hits, but the enfeeble spellpower is like 1%, so it doesnt affect anything. Zombies and battered got their spells removes because ppl are actually building hps on them, unlike snow rats. Not sure tho, maybe you can suggest better mob\place to recieve deseases.
Maybe add some funny way to get it from NPC by saying something to them: Say to Rook "How good she was?", he says - "Very hot, but i feel wierd!" and gives you -1hp poison, or -1 might enfeeble.

todasj commented 10 years ago

What is really the problem with enfeeble and dement on battered and zombies? Enfeeble made you not carry alot but with conveyance that is not really a problem anymore, just send your shit to the vault, dement does not stop that, it would only make it a bit trickier for mages but its not that big of a problem.

Fike103 commented 10 years ago

Well, the argument was that low level undeads cast spells on you and high lever ones dont. Makes sense. I vote for addition these spells to some NPC, some sort of intellect effect, but by your own demand :)

todasj commented 10 years ago

Making a npc cast spells on you I think is way to easy, you can bot it there almost to easy, making atleast some lower level mobs attack you is still a risk of dying. But that is just me. If the problem is that only low level undead casted spells, let all undead cast spells.

Tyrant82 commented 10 years ago

You could get enfeeble from scorpions but their attack sound is horrible..

Beumac commented 10 years ago

As long as the npc is in a PvP zone, who cares? Go ahead bot in a PvP zone, you will die :-)

Although I suppose auto loggers will become more popular...so idk.

steveyup commented 10 years ago

There should be an item that every time you take it on or off it dements you. Look a "fools helm"
