+1. thats true
I thought at one point there was a fix that prevented someone who was ghosted from being booted from the guild? This might be in the game somewhere already, just turned off.
For the second point, if someone is quick enough to open their guild dialog and leave guild while they're being jumped in town, more power to them.
Idk of anyone laughing or trolling after but I agree with the change.

The way around self-booting skittles is while a player is ghosted their GM logs on and boots them while. It's an extremely broke mechanic.
I think skittles understands that.
Yes, all I said was that I think there may be a setting in game already to turn this on (but I haven't checked). +1 for not booting logoff ghosts.
On the other hand, there are a myriad of reasons why a character with PvP flag up and _currently logged on_ should be bootable. If one of my guild members turns rogue I'd like to kick him immediately rather than whenever he/she decides to take a break from attacking others, for instance.
I understand the other side of this issue: you jump a 60hp toon in streets who wants to be part of the community but doesn't want to get murdered by a 150hp 3 schooler so he very quickly types guild, hits enter and leaves guild before he dies. It'd benefit the PKer if this person couldn't deguild but realistically it's much more fair to leave the newer toon with that option.
Could you just make it so if a char kicked while ghosted or is flagged for pvp and deguilds/kicked that for a limited amount of time hes still attack able in town or out?
No 60HP toon is typing "guild" and "deguilding" in PvP. They'll be dead by the time they can even hit enter. Largely this abuse is used in a built on built scenario. Where ghosted toons have their GM boot them from the guild in order to avoid a penalty, they "ROFLCopter" their way back to Barloque, buy a new guild, and jump back in the fight without risk. It's one of the lamest PvP broken mechanics in the game right now.
Unfortunately this broken mechanic and cheese tactic still exists on 103. It was a major issue on 101 where people did it in order to escape penalties, get safe, and "ROFL :)" at their opponents.
I've seen several people deguild in towns on 103 to avoid a penalty and then laugh about it. It's a shame this broken mechanic is still on 103.
