Turret base GUI wont open after right-click #523

Closed FoxPodZ closed 3 years ago

FoxPodZ commented 4 years ago

Issue Description:

after i place a base block and want to right-click it, nothing happens.

What happens:

so i was playing with a friend on our own Forge Server, and we decided to make a rail gun turret, but after we placed down the turret base, and right-clicked it, nothing happened.

What you expected to happen:

i expected to open the Turret base GUI

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Join a Forge Server with OMT installed (without OP)
  2. place down a base block
  3. right-click the base block

(i wonder if it only works for me)

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

Your most recent log file where the issue was present:

https://pastebin.com/5dbGBF0D

(i think it would not help)

and also. we tried deleting the configs and deleting the world, but that didn't fix it.

and also i'm german so my grammar maybe bad

Please never use "latest" as version numbers in issue reporting. That is no better than writing random numbers because it doesn't tell me anything.

That aside you probably are in the spawn protection zone of the server. That is a vanilla feature. Move about 30 blocks in any direction and it should work.

Sorry, my bad. (I don't use Github that often)

EnderIO: 5.1.55 OMT: 3.1.10-371 OMLib: 3.1.4-249 Forge Version: 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2854

and no I'm not at the Spawn area of the Server at all. I'm like thousands of blocks away from spawn. the server runs smoothly too.

Is the server in offline mode? if yes you need to activate offline mode support in the config file. If it isn't it most likely is another mod causing this problem. Try if it persists if you only have OMT+OMLib installed. I have no problems like that myself, nor did I get much similar issues. If this was a widespread bug, OMT would be unplayable (and I'd probably get much more reports). -------- Original Message -------- On May 29, 2020, 11:08, FuchsPlayZ wrote:
