List of games that will not start with mira. #61

Here is a list of games I have tested that will not start when using mira. When you try and load them it says: An error has occured in the following application (CE-34878-0)

This is an odd one, It doesnt throw an error but it just stays on the loading image.

There might also be an problem running certain games from an extended storage USB drive (NOT apptousb) I've only tested it out with a couple of games but Back To the future and Sonic Mania work when on internal but not when on an extended storage drive. At first I thought it was all games but Angry Birds Star Wars works from internal and external so it can't be that.

Thanks for your hard work, the ps4 doesn't crash anymore, fully functional rest mode (tested on several games in progress) Debugger works fine but can't resume a second time if I close putty.

So just throwing this out there as a possibility just so it doesn't get overlooked... are these games from the same source? Like is Leeful's Assassins Creed Origins PKG the same as badboy4life91's Assassins Creed Origins?

Anyone dumped their own copy and made a fresh PKG to verify it's not an issues with that particular PKG?

Confirmed. The build from @idc fixes the loading problem for me with all of the games I mentioned but I just saw the comment that the ioctl is needed by homebrew so bad news there.

I also tested my extended storage USB and the games that work from internal will not work when on the extended storage drive. Looks like this is a seperate issue. The error from the extended storage is: cannot start the application (CE-38612-0)

The Playroom VR gives you the error aswell

Thanks. Persona 5 is starting now, but then just hangs ((( maybe it's 6.72 JB issue, not MIRA

Have you tried AL-Azif's latest DNS? It solved CE-34878-0 for me. Tested on LBP3 and GoW. LBP3 works fine now, GoW is working but was unplayable due to poor performance.

Persona 5 Royal (Asia) [CUSA17544] throws NP-34942-2. Not entirely sure if it is an issue of the dump itself, but heard people saying it's an Mira issue.

@Snap47 Your issue is irrelevant to this issue. That leaked version of Persona 5 Royal has debug trophy which is currently not officially supported by Mira due to the missing patch and it fails to install any FPKGs with debug trophy.

If you are on 5.05, you could try @SiSTR0 's HEN fork. https://github.com/SiSTR0/ps4-hen-vtx/blob/master/kpayload/source/patch.c#L234

On Mira (Unofficial) it doesn't do anything but hangs on the launch picture until you basically have to do what @Anuskuss did to escape out of it.

Can't be sure that the game itself is corrupted, it could be possible that it was not packaged correctly.

I read the comments and apparently

05.05, it works. At least it doesn't hang on the splash screen.

But only 1 person reported it to be working out of like 10.

This issue should be resolved with latest Mira builds and v0.5 release of the toolchain https://github.com/OpenOrbis/OpenOrbis-PS4-Toolchain/releases/tag/v0.5.

Yea it's a bad rip. Tried it with your hen version and it also threw the error. Thanks for hen btw, it works flawlessly!
