Somebody reported on Sourceforge [tickets:#246]:

I want make Atlas with Mapper!

Like it make with OSM: http://fieldpapers.org/ http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM-Atlas

But want do it from Mapper!!!!

It seems a little bit out of scope from what we currently targeting at (drawing and printing plain maps), and even more with regard to what is still missing (such as orienteering course setting).

However we have multi page PDF export, and the source code is open, so someone might volunteer to implement ít either as dedicated application, as a special document type, or in connection with DTP applications such as Scribus.
