Comparing PDFs is not feasible. Best thing we could do is compare raster maps.
Found one more free & open-source orienteering map -- "Nybo" o-map released on 2018-08-02 under CC-BY-SA 2.5
license by Sven Lundbäck.
Here is my fork of it (for archiving purpose):
It's look like map originally designed in Mapper, then exported to OCD, reopened in OCAD11 (and re-saved in OCD?) and exported to PDF...
So, I will ask Sven Lundbäck for original original OMAP file (source) too.
Steps to reproduce
Here are few FULLY FREE orienteering maps of Palestinian city Battir, created in OCADv11 format with PDF version too, that could be usefull as testcase for OpenOrienteering Mapper
Here are all downloads and resources:
Hervé Quinquenel, original mapper of this map, say:
To contact original authors for questions, specific needs, expressions of interest or suggestions : herve.quinquenel(at)ign.fr
Actual behaviour
Sometime OCD maps could be imported with some issues in OMAP
Expected behaviour
Use this example map for check is OCAD and OOM produce same PDF. PDF produced from this map using OCAD already presented in different scales on linked website
Also propose convert it OMAP format and include in OOMapper as example. Another one target send it in OMAP format to original author for promoting OOMapper
