Suggested decision: Keep DeliveryTerms “as-is” (shown below), with the business rule that states that either ID or SpecialTerms needs to be defined. Delivery Terms [0..1] ID - Delivery terms identification [0..1] SpecialTerms - Special terms
Decided in PG-meeting the 29th of March: WG had suggested to keep DeliveryTerms “as-is” with a business rule that states that either ID or SpecialTerms needs to be defined. The project group agreed to this suggestion.
Incoterms are conditions agreed upon between a seller and a buyer with regard to the delivery of goods and/or services. In Transport Execution Plan Request we have “DeliveryTerms” that includes elements “ID” and “SpecialTerms”. “ID” is in this case the identifier for the incoterms, while “SpecialTerms” is special delivery terms that exceeds the incoterms.
There has been some feedback that in some countries “Combiterms” are in use as an “extension” to the incoterms, and that this might be added as a separate identifier. There is however an element called SpecialTerms that currently can support this, so we don’t believe it is necessary to add another element for Combiterms. There is also a business rule that states that either “ID” or “SpecialTerms” needs to be included”.
