Detail level needed in GoodsItem

There is an ongoing discussion on the detail level needed for GoodsItem in the Consignment/TransportHandlingUnit. Currently, the information is same as for Advanced Despatch Advice (quite detailed). It has been suggested to remove this information, as this is information that the transporter don’t need and are not able to make any use of. They care about the consignment as a whole, in more detailed information on the content is not necessary. Instead of current GoodsItem details, one would instead add a GoodsItem element that has only one containing element “Description” with a simple description of the Goods. Other relevant information on the goods is elsewhere in the Transport Execution Plan Request, information such as HazardousRiskIndicator etc.

Will be discussed in Project group.

Suggested decision:​ Have only a single “Description” element under GoodsItem in Consignment/TransportHandlingUnit.
